Explore Our Sunset Mission Mausoleum
The Sunset Mission Mausoleum at Inglewood Park Cemetery was inspired by the beautiful architecture of historic California missions. As you approach it on foot or take the virtual tour with the accompanying video, you’ll appreciate the graceful archways and upper level terraces that overlook the immaculate landscaping and mature shade-trees. The mausoleum was positioned so that the sun sets directly behind the building, allowing the red tile roof to light up brilliantly.
With the completion of this mausoleum in 2008, our cemetery now features the largest such structure in the country. It has two stories above ground and one below. Inside, you’ll find the Mission Chapel, Library of Roses, and original stained glass windows.
